My second day ever of snowboarding I decided to go up to the highest lift in North America at breckenridge. It was a black, but with extremely high winds, it was more like a double black.

Needless to say, that was also one of the stupidest things I've ever done.

skiiing tried it--nope,

playing in a band at white sox stadium in high school (nat'l anthem, did that too) nope,

flying IN a plane in the co-pilots seat---INTO a huge thunderstorm, did that--not exciting, horrifying not exciting

I'd have to say applying to the JET programme with tens of thousands of other applicants, getting an interview and getting picked to go to work/live in japan for a year and then getting my first choice of city! (everyone I knew said I wouldnt even get an interview

) the whole process takes almost a year....aps are due in sept, inteviews in feb, announcements of short list in march or april, assignments in june/july....leave for japan end july/beg aug.
Living in a foreign country was truly very very exciting!!!

ok I guess I am not that exciting of a person. But it was a dream of mine and I got to fulfill it, not many people get to do that.
